Ways Of Winning Back Your Lover

By Allison Thompson

There comes a time in everyone's life where they loose someone that they love due to a break up. Break ups can be hard on both parties; of course this always depends on the situation. We all know that relationships are kind of like children, to grow they must be nurtured. You have to give love and attention to your partner if you want him or her to stick around.

Sometimes when a relationship ends one or both parties want to get the other person back. However, it is best in most cases just to take a step back and let things be the way they are, for now anyway. Sometime agreeing that the breakup is for the best and using a little bit of reverse psychology is the best way to get your love back into your life. Basically act like the breakup is a positive step towards building a better future.

Certainly the worse thing any woman can do when trying to win back her lover is to act all need. As the old saying goes "no one needs the needy". By acting all clingy and showing you are unable to let them go is the quickest way to further alienate your lover from you than they already are. Yes dealing with a break up from someone who has meant a lot to you can be extremely difficult but if you have to cry and scream then do it behind closed doors.

When trying to rebuild a broken relationship you should close the doors on communication. This may seem like a bad thing to do considering communication is the key to having a successful relationship but when trying to mend a broken romance this is for the best. Having little to no contact with your love is for the best; the other person may just need a break. Once the break is over with and they see how much they miss you they will come back, if that is what is meant to be.

Do not, for any reason, sulk around the house and be lonely. You need to get out and have some fun with your friends. They always say laughter is the best cure for anything that ails you, including a broken heart. You do not have to date, you do not even have to have anything to do with someone, who could possibly be a love interest, just go out with your friends and be happy.

Also it is important that you don't try to be someone you aren't, even if it may be appealing to your lover. Who you are is what attracted your lover to you in the first place, so why change it now. There are going to be times in a relationship when one or both of you are going to become bored with the other and need a change because they have forgotten the reason why they fell in love with each other in the first place. It is important that you learn to like who you are and find ways of accenting those qualities which your lover found so endearing initially.

However, in the end it really is up to your lover whether they want to get back with you or whether the break up becomes permanent. Remember you can never force someone into loving you or to keep on loving you. In fact love is a very powerful emotion and something that one should not be toying with.
