How To Breed Serama For Sale

Serama is a poultry farm in Malaysia that specializes in raising and selling chicken to the customer. The chicken is a breed for consumption, production of eggs and some are kept in the farm as pets. That is why the farm strives so hard to maintain their legacy as Serama for sale of chicken. One should observe the following aspects when breeding these chickens.

The owner should select a rooster that is easy to handle and exhibit temperature that come from the surroundings. One should select well groomed birds that are free from illness and give medication to those that have purple tinges on the comb. Depending on the breeding stock at hand, one should choose a rooster that can save the chickens from deformities in the farm.

The poultry attendant should put the hens and rooster in an enclosure where one rooster should handle a group of hens. This based on the fact that putting more than one rooster in a coop can lead to anxiety amongst the hens leading to restless. Thus, one should allow the hens and rooster to intermingle for at least four days so that they can experience the freedom of movement.

The poultry farmer should keep a close eye on egg laying hens so that he can distinguish them from the rest. In addition, selecting them from the rest gives them the opportunity to fertilize the eggs and become broody. That is why they become docile and hatch the eggs into chicks.

One should also consider chicks in the breed that are always small and require that the owner crushes their chick crumbs to a finer grind in the blender. This enables them to feed without any disturbances and avoid respiratory problems that come as a result of respiratory blockage by feeds that are not crushed.

The attendant should also keep the coop clean through regulating extreme temperature that might act as a barrier to hatching of Serama for sale. One should keep the hen in a warm environment that favors the well being of the new chicks.
