From Aquarius to Leo - Oprah the Magnificent

By David Dibble

Try as I might, I was unable to think of a leader in the world who I more admire than Oprah Winfrey. She emerges to be the most influential woman on the planet, yet it is much more than that. She provides the lead in elevating the human condition in so many ways. A champion for all women, minorities, children and the underprivileged the world over, she has set the bar high as an of a true leader, a conscious leader.

Oprah is an Aquarius sun sign in the Western Zodiac or what we call an Aquarius CType. CTypes explain how we think. In the case of Aquarius, the CType is Outwardly Directed Sensation. This implies that Aquarius thinking is strongly impacted by all that can be encountered by the five senses. Aquarius CTypes are superb collectors of information. But nevertheless, just like all CTypes, if we do excess of our Natural CType thinking, we create challenges in our everyday lives. Fortuitously, within the stunning body of knowledge that is CTypes, we are furthermore encoded with a solution to life's problems and a route to higher awareness. The way out is to shift to our Opposite and complementary CType thinking. The shift to our Opposites is challenging for all CTypes, yet somehow it is how human beings are made to expand and evolve in life.

Oprah Became the Master

The opposite thinking of Aquarius is Leo CType thinking, which is known as Bi-directional Association. Aquarius is in many ways run by what it detects whereas Leo drives its own personal reality, quite often adopting a leadership component in the process. Abraham Lincoln is an example of an Aquarius CType who mastered the shift to Leo and grew to be perhaps the greatest leader in American history. Oprah also has mastered the move from Aquarius to Leo and, in the process, has grow to be a kindred spirit icon of conscious leadership for millions of people globally.

My better half of 40 years, Linda, has been pulling me in to watch Oprah as soon as she feels there is an issue I ought to learn. It happens there has been a good deal that I needed to hear (smile). She wondered aloud the other day what the millions of people who had made the Oprah show an significant part of their everyday lives would do with the show going off of the air. I suggested that perhaps the precious time has come for us to decide to put into action the things that Oprah has given us. This seemed to resonate with Linda.
