By Daniel Dalton

When couples struggle, it can lead to both people deciding to breakup. This is not really a divorce but a stride in between the marriage and divorce which allows for the couple to reassess the relationship and decide whether they want to work at the marriage or go their separate paths.

There are times when the determination to separate have some doubtfulness and feelings of sorrow. This lead to couples up trying to work it out.

There are some signs to look out for to help indicate that your ex wants to work things out. One of the first things you can notice is that very reaching out to you. Whether it's advice or help, any type of contact is good as long as it's not negative. Also if you ex, refers you as they their husband or wife then it's a good sign too.

Reaching Out

When I say reaching out, I am referring to simple contacts. This content can consist of calls, e-mails, surprise visits and greetings. Don't be alarmed if your ex wants you back. You two have shared a lot together.

Why do I say this a good sign? Typically if a marriage partner is upset or angry they usually keep their distance and stay away. When they try to reconnect to you by reaching out it indicates that they want to shorten the distance and become closer.

Seeking Counseling

When your marital partner wants for both of you to go to counseling, it's a good sign that he or she wants to fix your relationship. Even though you may not see it that way, this is a very strong indication that your significant other wants to get back with you.

Number one, it shows that your partner things that it's worth time, effort, money to seek counseling. Secondly it shows initiative to help fix things that are worth fighting for. Getting the counselor will help mediate any open issues and resolve gaps. This is a major signal that your partner acknowledges that there are problems but can be fixed.

Another great reason is that both of you are willing to make the effort to make your marriage work. Although it takes money time and effort, but returns on investment can get you a better marriage and a better relationship.
