Egypt Vacation Packages - Take A Cruise On The Nile

Sailing in a boat, is historically the only way to arrive at the tombs and temples of the northern end of the Nile river. Today, Nile cruises are more popular than ever. A Nile cruise can last anywhere from three to eleven days and stop at some of the most beautiful and ancient temples that are still standing today. There are many Egypt vacation packages that include cruises in their itinerary.

There are many specialized forms of tourism nowadays and Egypt vacations are part of that. Besides being a worldwide destination for archaeological, historical and cultural tour packages there is also what is known as therapeutic tourism. Egypt tours boast a wide variety of beautiful and healing geographical places, such as hot springs.

Proven scientific research suggests that clay found in many of the hot springs, have therapeutic benefits and have been known to cure bone abnormalities, skin problems, kidney and lung diseases including other problems. It is said too, that the water of the Red Sea a chemical composition that helps to cure forms of psoriasis.

Your passport will be stamped with a registration mark and you are on your way. You will need to register again upon arrive but, the assistants at the airport or cruise ship will help you with that.

A few things to pack for your trip are; high quality sunglasses, good sunblock, hand sanitizing wipes or gel and possibly iodine pills and small water filters to clean the water if the source is not safe. A very good mosquito and bug repellent is necessary. Beside using it when you go outdoors, you will want to spray the inside of your accommodations as well. Wear long pants and long sleeved shirts to help shield you as well.

Check with your doctor or a clinic that specializes in travel medicine. They will know what vaccinations you'll need and any precautionary medications to carry with you, such as anti-malaria medications.
