A Day At Cooling Castle Barn With Wedding Car Hire.

By Gavin Burnham

Cooling Castle Barn is probably Kent's most popular wedding venue and with good reason. Superb service from very professional staff compliments the stunning grounds and the huge and wonderful space within the Tithe barn itself. There are three barns for hire: The Heritage Barn for the reception of guests, The Fathom Barn for the Marriage Ceremony and The Tithe Barn for the Wedding Breakfast.

Construction for Cooling Castle took place between 1380 and 1385. John Cobham built the structure at the marsh edge to protect the Thames River. The Thames, however, now flows two miles from the ruins of the building, where Jools Holland, a musician, lives in a private residence. Visitors will still admire the lush garden and the twin drum tower gatehouse, which are kept in good condition. Both of these attractive features serve as backdrops for many photographs, particularly wedding photographs.

Couples may locate their wedding ceremony in one of two different locations. The wedding may take place in the Fathom or may take place outdoors, depending on conditions and on the wishes of the couple. Additionally, a Toastmaster works for the facility to ensure that couples have a well-run and pleasant day. The Toastmaster worries about the logistics so that couples can focus on enjoying one of the most important days of their lives.

Cars 4 Weddings provides wedding car hire service that arrives at the towers. The car drives to the reception at the barn, where the driver is greeted by the Toastmaster so that plans for the day can be arranged. Then, the driver waits until the marriage service has ended before taking couples on a short countryside tour, serving champagne according to the couple's request. When the vehicle returns to the castle, the wedding photographer awaits the couple and snaps photographs of both the car and the towers of the castle in the background.

Meanwhile your guests will be gathering expectantly in the barn gardens waiting for your arrival in your wedding cars. Once the photographs are complete, they will chauffeur you into the barn gardens, driving onto the lawn and circling around to arrive greeted by your cheering assembled guests. They will wait for guests to take photographs and for the photographer to take any further pictures.
