Wedding Packages and Planning Tips For Your Key West, Florida Destination Wedding

By Peter Estenoz

A tropical island destination wedding, what a romantic island adventure! Something you will definitely have to research in order to trust the most important day in your life in the hands of the experts. The two of you decide to search the web in order to discover if this will be a difficult and add more stress than is necessary or will it be an easy task?

You'll have many questions to explore: Is there a place in the US that is like the Caribbean with a tropical flare? Yes: how about Key West, Florida? Will it be easy to get our license to marry? Yes, only takes about 15 minutes. Do we have to take a blood test? No. Is there going to be a waiting period after we get the license? If you are Florida Residents yes, if not there is no waiting period. How long is the license good for? The license will be good for 60 days after you get it.

Next will be the search of all the wedding providers? With there being as many as there are, what criteria are you going to use in selecting one? Will it be pricing? Will it be selection or what they offer? Will it be the experience they have to capture not only the emotion you feel on that day, but also the beauty of the tropical colors? So how will you choose the right vendor? Will it be with a flip of a coin that you make these decisions? or will your extensive research lead you down the right path so you can create for the two of you an enjoyable stress-free easy relaxing destination beach wedding. One that when you return to your home, you can to your hearts content mentally and emotionally travel back to and ponder again and again, bringing a subtle smile to your faces as you plan your next anniversary trip to where your life began as husband and wife.

You've done the researching, you've bookmarked your favorites, now take the time to write the list and what you want your destination beach wedding to be, take the time to call some of the vendors and see if your dream wedding becomes a vision for them. Make sure your destination wedding is cost effective and ask yourself the question, what will I be going home with?

This is where the importance of your wedding photography come into question, keeping in mind: this is your wedding photography, not their wedding photography we're talking about, all the planning, the special dress which you painstakingly picked after trying on so many, and hiding it in the closet until the day of, the flowers that compliment the dress and occasion, the location, capture this with professional experience, choose someone who will treat your wedding with the respect and love it deserves. Check out your photographers credentials, can you see their work, what about references, are they listed with the Better Business Bureau, and what is the score? Are they active members with the local Chamber of Commerce and other community groups? Do they have testimonials, not only on their websites, but also reviews on websites like www.Weddingwire.com and others, references from previous clients you can check? Are they dependable, reliable? what is their reputation? and will the experience of working with them be pleasurable for you and your guest? These are the questions to ponder when considering your destination tropical beach wedding.

Sure you'll have more questions so stay tuned as these too will be answered.
