Living The Post-Breakup Life

By Steven Sawyer

If you have never yet, there is a time coming when you will find yourself wondering how on earth you got dumped. During that time, you will question what could have been done differently.

You will never gain that much by keeping that issue replaying in your mind. You have to rise to the occasion and set your sail to different lands. What are the chances that your ex was all that?

To deal with breakups, try out these few ideas to get along well.

Do not make the same move all other failed relationships make; getting into rebounds. Trust you; you do not want to do that. You will do more harm than healing. A broken heart will be inflicted more pain with it.

When you go into a rebound relationship, there is great chance that you will go on a comparing spree. Today the new one boyfriend is better...tomorrow you think your ex is better. This vicious cycle kills the point.

A good way to let go of some feelings is to write. You can start writing away the hurt through poems. Let your feelings mix with your pen and write them as they are. You can write sad poems if you have to. The trick is that writing will likely let out some feelings better than crying ever does.

Healing a heart is not a joke! It is hard but you will make it. Even when it barely seems like it is going to happen, observe a little more patience and it will work. Stick around your friends and do all the funs stuff that will get your mind away from your ex.

The issue of making phone contact is also important. You should not think about calling every now and then. The more you stay outside the radar the more he will be tempted to make contact by himself, allowing you option if you want him back.
