Things You Should Not Do After A Breakup

By Sara Barboza

Most of us have been to that ground shaking break up which immediately go us thinking "How can I turn this around and get my ex again?" Here are things you should not try doing.

You should not think that replaying the occurrence of events in your mind will at all get you gaining ground. First of all it is pointless and anyway, it does not bear much fruit thinking it over.

In many occasions, you may be dumped but deep within; you struggle to come to grips with what just happened. You wonder again why this had to happen. You end up recycling the same thoughts of sympathy.

The last impression you may want to give anyone is that you are in a desperate situation. This is normally shown by all the nagging calls, chain-texting and unwarranted visits to your ex girlfriends house. Try to avoid all these. The result will be that your ex girlfriend will miss you and contact you.

It is very common to get the urge to start off a rebound relationship with some girl you have been eyeing at the park. This is probably just a loser's way of getting over an ex but it does not work well.

By virtue of entering a rebound relationship, you are implying that you are not getting back with your ex. Why would you want to burn those bridges now?

Try and not carry the weight of the world on your shoulder. Think about yourself first and take a vacation to clear your mind.

Give it some months and you will have all the info you need about the breakup. You will have made up your mind about what you both want. You may still want back your ex, or you may want to erase everything to do with your past.
