The Controversy Regarding Womens Ministry In Chatsworth

By Leticia Jenkins

For a number of years, there has been some debate over the role that a woman should play within the church setting. Many people argue that women are second to man and should never be in a position of authority. Despite those beliefs, the womens ministry in Chatsworth has continued to grow.

Women have long been recognized as the nurturer in society. Their role has always been to help and encourage others to do what is right. They have been known to push their families forward, when the family member no longer felt like moving on. This shows the kind of leadership that seems to come very natural for women.

This kind of guidance shows exactly how much competence a woman has in offering support. For many followers, being a minister is simply doing just what women have always done. They have always been able to offer the support their followers need and give the advice needed to help those followers do what is right. This has always seemed to be second nature for most women.

There are many stories throughout the Bible that shows this kind of support from women. Many of these women were thought of as being prophetess'. Many others were seen as being able to hold the others together in troubling times.

Prophesies have also indicted in scripture that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit would come upon women of the nation. It has been said that they would also be prophets and teach their people of God. Throughout the Bible, the scripture has found many women who played a prominent role in the teachings of Christ.

However, there are still many who feel that womens ministry in Chatsworth is not a role that God wants women to take. They will continue to argue that woman can from man, not the other way around. Therefore, just as in a home, a woman's place is behind the head or the man.
